Walter Harnisch
Walter Harnisch (born May 30, 1906 in Vienna ; † September 21, 1988 ibid) was an Austrian artist of painting and commercial graphics .
Life
Harnisch studied from 1923 to 1928 at the Vienna School of Applied Arts with Franz Cizek and Bertold Löffler .
Armor was from
- 1928–1972 worked as a freelancer .
- 1941–1945 Wehrmacht soldier , as a map draftsman.
- 1957–1975 Consultant for Austrian Transport Advertising ( ÖBB and Post ).
- 1972–1988 Head of drawing courses at the Hietzing Adult Education Center .
Harnisch also put his skills at the service of social democratic politics.
