Walter Otto (lawyer)
Walter Otto (* 1907 in Herleshausen ; † 1998 ) was a German lawyer.
Career
Otto attended the University of Göttingen from 1928 to 1931, where he studied law and political science . He passed the legal traineeship exam in Celle . In 1932 he received his doctorate. Four years later he passed the assessor examination in Berlin and subsequently became a court assessor . From 1938 he was City Assessor and City Councilor of Stralsund for three years . After that, he was Executive Council , first in Klagenfurt and Kassel , in 1951 then in the Federal Ministry of the Interior . From the following year until 1955 he worked as a senior administrative judge in Koblenz . From April 29, 1955 to March 31, 1972 he was a judge at the Federal Administrative Court .
