Walter Riedl (politician)

Walter Riedl (born July 17, 1952 in Laa an der Thaya ; † August 30, 2001 in Tiefgraben ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and tax advisor. Riedl was a member of the National Council from 1990 to 1991 and from 1993 to 1994 .

Visited after the elementary school , a high school and the business school we finally the commercial academy in 1972 with the closing Matura from. Riedl then worked as an office clerk and from 1973 worked in a tax consultancy. In 1980 he started his own business as a tax consultant .

Riedl began his political engagement in the city politics of Laa an der Thaya, where he held the function of the financial city council from 1982 to 1988. He was also head of the future workshop in the Mistelbach district and from 1990 to 1992 a member of the board of the main district party leadership of the ÖVP Mistelbach . He then held the role of a member of the board of the district party leadership of the ÖVP Mistelbach from 1992 to 1996 and was also district group chairman of the Austrian Economic Association (ÖWB) of Laa an der Thaya from 1988 to 1992 . He then acted as sub-district group chairman of the ÖWB Laa from 1992 to 1997 and was also a member of the ÖWB regional group board and the regional group leadership from 1991 to 1997 .

Riedl represented the ÖVP from December 18, 1990 to October 21, 1991 and from January 29, 1993 to November 6, 1994 in the National Council.
