Walter Tanck

Walter Tanck , according to the birth entry Walther Heinrich Tanck (born January 31, 1894 in Hamburg-Eilbek ; † October 10, 1954 in Hamburg-Blankenese ), was a German painter , etcher and wood cutter .

He was the son of the businessman Robert Tanck and his wife Dorothea Elisabeth Friederike, née Janssen , in their apartment at 74 Blumenau .

From 1911 to 1912 he studied with the Hamburg painter Franz Nölken . He worked in Hamburg and the surrounding area.
