Walter Tuschla

Walter Tuschla (born March 24, 1938 in Zwittau , Czechoslovakia ; † March 10, 2011 in Oberkirch ) was a German conductor and composer .

Life

Walter Tuschla studied at the Leopold Mozart Conservatory in Augsburg trays trumpet , music theory and harmony. During his studies he played actively with the municipal opera orchestra Augsburg, the radio brass orchestra Hans Blum and the Nuremberg city pipers. Tuschla was also a trombonist under Ernst Mosch and his original Egerland musicians . Walter Tuschla was director of the music clubs in Weiler and Ellhofen in the Allgäu for five years. He was a subject teacher and district conductor of the ASM ( Allgäu-Schwäbischer Musikbund ). In 1975 he took over the leadership of the Oberkirch town band (Baden) and became the pedagogical director of the local music school and the association conductor of the Acher-Renchtal music association . He also directed the Ödsbach traditional costume band in the Black Forest for ten years and was a sought-after judge at home and abroad.

He died on March 10, 2011 at the age of 72 after a serious illness in Oberkirch.
