Walter Willhöfft

Walter Bernhard Willhöfft (born March 20, 1873 in Leipzig ; † December 15, 1936 ) was a German judge .

Life

He was the son of a Protestant merchant and attended the royal high school in his hometown from 1883 to 1892 , which he left with the school leaving certificate. He passed the 1st state legal examination in 1896 with the grade “passed” and the 2nd in 1900 with the grade “good”. In 1901, Willhöfft became the public prosecutor in Leipzig. In May 1920 he became district court director there. A year later he became a laborer at the Imperial Court . In March 1923 he became a Reich judge. He was a member of the DNVP in the Weimar Republic . In 1936 he was a member of the Reich Court Committee on Criminal Procedure Reform.
