Waltershauser Association
The Waltershäuser Association (also: Waltershäuser Bladder Convent (Waltershäuser BC)) was a corporation association in the period from 1866 to 1868. Its members were dutiful and non- colored student associations , bladders from Göttingen , Halle (Saale) and Jena , which were religious and political Chasing trends. It was later partially absorbed in the Gotha First Convent .
history
The members of the Göttingen bubble convent established relationships and cartel connections with bubble convents in Jena and Halle. On May 25, 1866, the association was founded in Waltershausen by the bladder convents of Göttingen and Jena. The Halle Bladder Convention joined the association on July 13, 1867. However, the association was so loose in its organization that it only existed for a very short time. The annual meeting on July 4, 1868 on the Kyffhäuser was so poorly attended that it was no longer quorate and the association practically no longer existed. It was not until five years later that most of the members of the Gotha First Convent came together again.
aims
The pursuit of equal rights for all students, the fight against the caste system and outdated customs as well as the preservation of personal freedom within the individual member associations formed the principles of the Waltershausen Association.
