Walther von Boeckmann

Walther von Boeckmann (born December 12, 1888 in Naples , † May 2, 1970 in Dießen am Ammersee ) was a German administrative lawyer and district administrator .

Life

Boeckmann began his professional activity in 1912 as a trainee lawyer. From 1914 to 1918 he took part in the First World War. In 1920 he worked as a court assessor and from 1920 to 1931 he was employed by the Silesian Land Society as a lawyer . From 1922 Boeckmann worked as a lawyer at the local and regional court in Breslau. From 1925/26 he was an active member of the NSDAP and worked as the head of the city department in the Scheitnig district of Breslau . Since October 1, 1931 he was a district syndic in the Ostprignitz district . From May 16, 1933, Boeckmann acted as an administrator in the Waldenburg district office and was appointed provisional district administrator on July 17, 1933. From September 12, 1933, he again officiated as governor of the province of Lower Silesia . Walther von Boeckmann was also a curator at the University and the Technical University of Breslau.
