Waltraud Lohrmann

Waltraud Lohrmann (born June 5, 1925 in Meiningen ) is a former German actress who played for many years at the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin .

Her most important stage roles included Gretchen in “ Faust ”, Thekla in “ Wallenstein ”, Beatrice in “ Much Ado About Nothing ” and Grusha in “ Caucasian Chalk Circle ”.

Since the mid-1950s, she has also played numerous larger roles in DFF productions such as the television game "Nora" based on Berta Waterstradt , in which she fights for equality in the lead role of the housewife Nora Glück.
