Wang Guosheng ( Chinese  王国生 ; * 1956 in Dong'e , Shandong Province ) is a politician in the People's Republic of China .

Wang joined the Chinese Communist Party in 1975 . He held various political and administrative positions in his home province and, from 2000, in Jiangsu Province . There he was the last deputy party secretary from 2008 to 2010.

Since December 2010, Wang has been the governor of Hubei Province , first managing director, succeeding Li Hongzhong , who was promoted to party secretary of that province . At the same time, he has also been Deputy Party Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China since 2010.

He has been a candidate for the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party since 2007 .
