Wang Huiyuan

Wang Huiyuan - also Wang Hui-yuan - (born October 11, 1960 in Liaoning ) is a Chinese table tennis player . He was twice world champion in team competition.

Career

From 1977 to 1985, Wang Huiyuan took part in five world championships . He became world champion with the Chinese team in 1981 and 1985 . He won bronze in 1979 in doubles with Li Zhenshi and in mixed with Zhang Deying and in 1983 in singles and doubles with Yang Yuehua .

In 1984 he entered the Asian Championships . Here he won the team competition, in doubles with Chen Longcan and in mixed with He Zhili , he reached the final.

In the ITTF world rankings , Wang Huiyuan finished third in February 1985 and July 1986.
