Wang Peng ( Chinese  王鹏 , Pinyin Wàng Péng ) is a Chinese pool and snooker player .

Career

After finishing fifth in 2014 , Wang Peng finished fourth at the World Chinese 8-Ball Masters in January 2015 . A few weeks later he moved into the round of 32 at the Chinese 8-Ball World Championship , in which he was defeated by compatriot Liu Chiang 6:11. At the World Chinese 8-Ball Masters 2016 he finished ninth. In March 2016, he was eliminated in the round of 32 at the Chinese 8-Ball World Championship against defending champion Darren Appleton .

In October 2013, Wang first took part in a tournament in the Snooker tournament series Players Tour Championship ; however, he lost 4-0 to Ross Muir in the first round of the Zhengzhou Open . In the 2014/15 season he took part in two PTC tournaments and was eliminated in the first round at both the Haining Open 2014 and the Xuzhou Open 2015 . At the Haining Open 2015 , the only PTC tournament held in Asia in the 2015/16 season , he lost to Dominic Dale from Welsh in the first round .
