The Haining Open 2015 (also Asian Tour 2015/16 - Event 1 ) was a snooker tournament that was held from October 19 to 23, 2015 in the Haining Sports Center in the east Chinese city of Haining . After 2014 it was the second tournament at this venue. It counted as a minor ranking tournament in the Players Tour Championship , which is part of the 2015/16 snooker season , and was the only one of the tour's seven tournaments that takes place outside of Europe.
The Chinese Ding Junhui won the tournament by beating Ricky Walden 4: 3 in the final , after being 3: 1 behind.
The winner of the previous year was the Englishman Stuart Bingham , who had also won the world title afterwards. However, he did not take part in the tournament this year.

The prize money remained unchanged compared to the previous year.

128 players competed in the main tournament from October 19, with the first round on Monday and Tuesday and round 2 on Wednesday. The three following rounds up to the quarter-finals took place on Thursday and the tournament was concluded with semi-finals and finals on Friday, October 23rd.
