Players Tour Championship 2015/16

The Players Tour Championship 2015/16 was a series of snooker tournaments that took place for the sixth time in the 2015/16 season and was part of the Snooker Main Tour . Seven preliminary tournaments were played, six of them as a European Tour in Europe and one in Asia ( Asian Tour ), and a final tournament that took place in Manchester in March 2016 .

It was a Pro-Am tournament series in which amateurs took part in addition to Main Tour professionals. Because of the lower prize money, the pre-tournaments had less of an impact on the world rankings than the other main tour rankings. The top 24 players on the European Tour , the two best players on the Asian Tour , and the eight best players who have not yet qualified through the two partial series qualified for the final tournament .

The six most successful players on the European Tour and the two most successful players on the Asian Tour who had not already secured a place for the following season via the world rankings qualified for the 2016/17 and 2017/18 Main Tour seasons .

At the end of the season, the Players Tour Championship was suspended for financial reasons.
