The Joy Cup World Chinese 8-Ball Masters 2015 was an invitation-only pool billiards tournament that was held from January 5th to 8th, 2015 at the Olympic Sports Center in Qinhuangdao , China . 24 players competed against each other in a double knockout system . Was played Chinese 8-Ball , that 8-ball on a 9-foot snooker table .
The Chinese Yang Fan won the tournament by beating compatriot Zheng Yubo 13: 9 in the final . Defending champion Gareth Potts took third place.
Prize money
A total of US $ 113,500 in prize money was distributed. The winner received about $ 48,000, the finalist received about $ 24,000, and the third-place winner received about $ 8,000.
