Wang Yang (born February 14, 1989 ) is a Chinese high jumper .
Athletic career
Wang Yang gained her first international experience at the Indoor Asian Championships 2012 in Hangzhou , where she won the silver medal behind her compatriot Zheng Xingjuan with a jump of 1.88 m . She also won the silver medal behind the Uzbek Svetlana Radzivil at the 2015 Asian Championships in Wuhan with a height of 1.88 m . In 2019 she finished fifth at the Asian Championships in Doha with a skipped 1.75 m.
In 2015 and 2017, Wang became the Chinese high jump champion.
