Warren Ridge is a 3 km long and up to 1100 m high mountain range on the Antarctic Ross Island . It rises with a southwest-northeast orientation on the northern slope of the Kyle Hills . Highest point is 1.5 km north of Ainley Peak of Dibble peak .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2000 after the US climate researcher Stephen George Warren (* 1945) from the University of Washington , who from 1985 onwards in several summer campaigns as part of the United States Antarctic Program and the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions had studied the effects of climatic changes on the polar plateau .
