Why not is a comedy film by actress and director Coline Serreau about a love triangle that was released in French cinemas on December 21, 1977 (in Germany on September 22, 1978). It is Coline Serreau's first feature film. It was a success both in Germany and France and is still a cult film today because, like no other, it is uncomplicated and unprejudiced about love between people.
