Wash house in Flagy

The wash house (French lavoir ) in Flagy , a French commune in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region , was built around 1850/60.

The wash house at the end of Rue Maigrette is on the Orvanne River . The elongated building made of brick masonry was intended for 15 to 18 laundresses, who were protected by a pent roof .
