The WasserWirtschaft is a German professional journal in the field of hydraulic engineering and water management. The magazine appears in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the German-speaking environment. It is published by Springer Verlag .

The first edition appeared in 1906, from 1948 it was published by Hans Hoebel . WasserWirtschaft is published ten times a year and contains information on hydraulic engineering , hydropower , dams and dams , hydrology , water management and water volume management, flood protection , hydraulics and hydromechanics , bodies of water , groundwater and drinking water , ecology and soil .
