Andy Cohen , Andrew Joseph Cohen (born June 2, 1968 in St. Louis , Missouri ) is an American television presenter , writer and television producer .

Life

Cohen attended Clayton High School in St. Louis until 1986. Cohen studied journalism at Boston University . After graduating, Cohen worked for the news program CBS News for ten years , where he hosted the news with Julie Chen . In 2004, Cohen moved to the US television broadcaster Bravo when the latter acquired the Trio subsidiary from CBS . Cohen hosted programs such as Today and Morning Joe and, together with Kelly, the program Live! and The View . Cohen also hosted the Miss USA 2011 , Miss USA 2012 , Miss USA 2013 , Miss Universe 2011 and Miss Universe 2012 beauty pageants . In the following years Cohen appeared as a guest on various talk shows on various American television channels. As a television producer, he was involved in the production of American television programs such as Talented - The Equation of a Life , Top Chef , The N-Word, and Project Runway . Since 2015 Cohen has had his own program Radio Andy on the radio station SiriusXM . Cohen wrote several books as an author. Cohen is openly gay. In February 2019, he became the father of a son.
