Wayne Weiler started once in his career in a race for the Formula 1 World Championship . He started on May 30, 1960 at the 500 miles of Indianapolis on an Epperly - Offenhauser - this race was part of the world championship between 1950 and 1960 - and was eliminated after 103 laps due to an accident.
