The almost spherical, pink fruits do not smell. They have a diameter of 2.2 centimeters and a length of up to 2.5 centimeters. Their flesh is purple in color.

Weberocereus biolleyi is distributed in Costa Rica in the provinces of Alajuela , Heredia and Limón and in Panama in the provinces of Bocas del Toro , Colón , Panamá and possibly Darién from sea level to altitudes of up to 750 meters (rarely up to 1600 meters).
It was first described as Rhipsalis biolleyi in 1902 by Frédéric Albert Constantin Weber . Nathaniel Lord Britton and Joseph Nelson Rose put the species in the genus Weberocereus in 1909 . Nomenclatory synonyms are Cereus biolleyi (FACWeber) K.Schum. (1903) and Weberocereus tunilla subsp. biolleyi (FACWeber) Ralf Bauer (2003).
