Webster Tarpley (2005)

Webster Griffin Tarpley (* 1946 in Pittsfield , Massachusetts ) is an American journalist and author.

Tarpley studied English and Italian at Princeton University and graduated summa cum laude in 1966 . He then taught at the University of Turin as part of the American Fulbright program . He was close to the LaRouche movement until the 1990s . In 1986 he ran as a member of LaRouche's US Labor Party as a member of the New York State Assembly . However, his name was removed from the ballot paper by a court order because his nomination petition was incorrect. In addition to his native English , Tarpley speaks fluent German , Italian , French , Latin and Russian . His German-language publications are published by Kopp Verlag .
