The signpost is a listed signpost in the city of Ballenstedt in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located at the western exit of the Ballenstedt Castle Park on Fürstenweg in the direction of Gernrode at the intersection with the Alte Kreipe path . The Selketalstieg also runs along the Fürstenweg here .

Design and history

The signpost was probably set up at the beginning of the 20th century. It is designed as a sandstone pillar on which, today already heavily weathered, directions and distances for Gernrode, Alexisbad and Ballenstedt are given.
