Wei Yi-ching (born July 5, 1998 ) is a Taiwanese sprinter who specializes in the 100-meter run .

Athletic career

Wei Yi-ching gained his first international experience at the 2017 Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar , where he finished seventh in the final with the Taiwanese 4 x 100 meter relay with 39.40 seconds. He then took part in the Summer Universiade in Taipei , where he won the bronze medal behind the teams from Japan and the United States with the relay in 39.06 s. The following year he took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time and finished fourth with the Taiwanese relay. In 2019 he won the silver medal behind the team from Thailand at the Asian Championships in Doha in 39.18 s. He then finished fourth at the Student World Games in Naples with the season in 39.78 s.
