Holy water font (Samonac)

The holy water stoup in the church of St-Martin in Samonac , a French commune in the Gironde department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , was created in the 17th century. In 1986 the baroque stoup was added to the list of listed buildings ( Base Palissy ) in France as Monument historique .

The stone holy water font is decorated with plant motifs and two lion heads.
