Welscheid ( Luxembourgish : Welschent ) is a village in the municipality of Burscheid , Canton Diekirch , in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg .

Welscheid lies in the valley of the Wark, a small tributary to the Sauer . The CR 350 and CR 349 run through the town. Neighboring towns are Scheidel , Burscheid, Warken and Niederfeulen . The village is surrounded by forest.

Welscheid is a small village, which is dominated by the parish church of St. Jakobus built in 1880.
