The LaFratta Point is the north-eastern foothills of Mount Doorly in the Olympus Range in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . The headland is 10.7 km northwest of King Pin and 10 km northeast of Lake Brownworth .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named her in 2011 after Susanne M. LaFratta-Decker from the National Science Foundation , who worked there from 1996 in various functions in support of the United States Antarctic Program and participated in seven summer campaigns in Antarctica .
