Lipperscheid ( Luxembourgish : Lëppschent ) is a town in the municipality of Burscheid , Canton Diekirch , in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg .

Lipperscheid lies on the Sauer valley . The national road 27 runs through the town. Neighboring towns are Burscheid to the west and Michelau to the south.

General

Lipperscheid is a small rural village. The neo-Gothic parish church is dedicated to St. Willibrord consecrated. The baroque high altar inside is worth seeing .
