Wendela Horz

Wendela Horz (born December 9, 1969 in Speyer ) is a German goldsmith , expert , gemologist and diamond graduate.

Life

Wendela Horz completed an apprenticeship as a gemologist and as a diamond and gemstone appraiser at the German Gemological Society in Idar-Oberstein , of which she is a specialist member. From 1989 on, she was the managing jeweler of the Juwelier Horz company in Speyer , which she and her husband Frank Horz managed until 2017 in the fourth generation. The business has existed since 1893. Since May 2017 she has been working as a freelance expert.  

Wendela Horz gained national fame through her appearances as an expert in the ZDF series Bares for Rares , in which she has been evaluating historical and modern jewelry since the seventh season of 2017. On April 29, 2020, Horz performed its own jewelry collection under the title Mein Stein by Wendela Horz on the long-term advertising channel QVC .
