Wendy Brown (heptathlete)
Wendy Brown ( Wendy Renee Brown; born January 28, 1966 ) is a former American heptathlete and triple jumper .
At the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, she came in 18th place in the heptathlon .
In 1985, 1986 and 1988 she was US triple jump champion. Starting for the University of Southern California , she was NCAA heptathlon champion in 1988 and triple jump NCAA indoor champion in 1986.
Twice she set an unofficial world record in the triple jump:
- 13.58 m, May 30, 1985, Austin
- 13.71 m, May 2, 1987, Los Angeles
