Wendy Davis (born June 30, 1966 in Baltimore , Maryland ) is an American actress .

life and career

Wendy Davis grew up in Joppatowne , a small town near Baltimore . She attended the local Joppatowne High School . She completed her studies in theater at Howard University from.

Davis had one of her first television appearances in 1991 in seven episodes of the series The New WKRP in Cincinnati . Since then there have been appearances in High Incident - The Cops of El Camino , Angel - Hunters of Darkness , Cold Case - No Victim Is Ever Forgotten , Grey's Anatomy and Welcome, Mrs. President . She also appeared in five episodes of Scandal in 2012 . Wendy Davis was a main cast on Army Wives from 2007 to 2013 . There she played the role of Joan Burton for 117 episodes .

Wendy Davis was married to Jacobi Wynne, with whom she has a daughter. She currently lives with them in Charleston .
