Wennemar von Bevern came from the Westphalian noble family von Bevern , who came from the ministerial nobility and had their headquarters in Ostbevern and Westbevern in Münsterland . He was the son of Friedrich von Bevern and his wife Getrud Voet zu Kolvenburg and grew up with his siblings Agnes († 1475, ∞ Hermann Korff called Schmising), Nikolaus and Johannes , who were also canons of Munster. Act
Like his brother Johannes, Wennemar refused to sign the chapter statute on February 6, 1432. This said that the assignment of offices is only permissible to emancipated canons. From 1460 to 1461 he was provost of the collegiate monastery St. Martini in Münster . The sources do not provide any information about his further life.
