Yamato Wakatsuki ( Japanese 若 月 大 和 , Wakatsuki Yamato ; born January 18, 2002 in Gunma Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Yamato Wakatsuki learned to play football in the youth teams of Liberty Omama SC and Mebashi SC and in the school team of Kiryu Daiichi High School . He was loaned to Shonan Bellmare from Kiryu Daiichi High School from March 2019 to January 2020 . The club from Hiratsuka , a city in the south of the Japanese prefecture of Kanagawa , played in the country's highest league, the J1 League . Here he completed a game in the first division as a youth player. After the loan ended, he was signed on by Shonan Bellmare in January. In the same month he switched to FC Sion in Switzerland on loan . With the club from Sion he plays in the first Swiss league, the Super League .
