Werner Aderhold

Werner Aderhold (born November 4, 1937 in Dortmund ) is a German musicologist .

Life

Aderhold was a long-time employee of the New Schubert Edition at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen . At first he worked on the revised new edition of the German directory in German language (1978). He later published primarily instrumental works by Schubert, including string quartets and the great symphonies in B minor and C major .

Aderhold also created a number of editions for Carus-Verlag .
