Werner Doyé

Werner Gernot Doyé (born March 15, 1942 in Hellenthal in the Eifel ; † July 26, 2019 ) was a German television journalist , filmmaker and editor .

Life

Werner Doyé studied journalism, political science and history at the Free University of Berlin and from 1968 worked for the Berlin regional studio of ZDF . From 1970 he was responsible for reporting from West Berlin . In 1978 Doyé moved to the main editorial office for internal affairs at ZDF in Mainz , from then on moderated and headed the television magazine Länderspiegel until 1988 and developed the series “Notes on a journey” and “Letters from the province”. He then headed the ZDF regional studio in Hamburg and became chief reporter of the ZDF main editorial office for domestic affairs. He retired in 2000.

Werner Doyé died on July 26, 2019 at the age of 77.
