Werner Ferrang

Werner Ferrang (* 28. January 1924 in Kirkel-Neuhäusel , † 31 May 1974 in Homburg ) was a German politician of the CDU .

Life and work

Ferrang worked as a lathe operator until 1953. He then became secretary at the Christian Metalworkers' Association and, from 1966, at IG Metall .

Politics
Ferrang joined the CDU in 1959. From 1964 to 1973 he sat in the district council of Neunkirchen . In the 1972 federal election , Werner Ferrang entered the Bundestag via the Saarland CDU state list and stayed there until his death in 1974. Doris Pack moved up to replace him in the Bundestag.
