Werner Hahn (* 1944 in Karlsbad ) is a German painter and photographer .

He studied design and photography . He lives in Nuremberg , but stayed in Asia from 1966 to 1997 . In addition to painting, he also worked as an award-winning photographer and art director for several publishers in Hong Kong. From 1986 he learned Chinese brush painting.

Hahn's preferred motif is Mount Kailash (Kailasch), which he visited three times. Mount Kailash is 6,714 meters high and the true Hinduism (as the seat of the god Shiva ), the Buddhism and the Bon - religion as sacred. Hahn's pictures are up to 12 m long.
