Werner Kanitz

Werner Kanitz (* before 1945 ; † 1996 ) was a German actor .

The stage actor Kanitz made his debut in the 1965 feature film Born in 45 directed by Jürgen Böttcher in the role of Napoléon.

This was followed by appearances in many other productions in the 1970s and 1980s, including Der Sonne Glut , Apachen , Lotte in Weimar , Bürgschaft für ein Jahr and Fallada - last chapter .

Kanitz starred in the lead role of David Balfour in the DEFA adventure film Shots under the Gallows by Horst Seemann , who earned him a certain reputation. He also played several times in the successful series Polizeiruf 110 and mimed the wicked adoptive father Erwin Becker in the RTL soap opera Good times, bad times . He was also heard on GDR television as a dubbing voice for several productions.
