Werner Otto (born January 3, 1929 ) is a former German soccer player.

Otto initially played for the second team of 1. FC Saarbrücken from 1948 to 1951 , before being promoted to the first. From 1951 to 1958 he played 125 point games in the soccer Oberliga Südwest , in one of five seasons as the highest German division, and scored 38 goals. His debut season, in which he played 25 games and scored five goals, he finished with 1. FC Saarbrücken as champions of the Regionalliga Südwest.
