Werner Pfisterer

Werner Pfisterer (born September 3, 1949 in Heidelberg-Kirchheim ) is a German CDU politician .

Life

Pfisterer completed an apprenticeship as a precision mechanic after finishing school. From 1980 to 1984 he was chairman of the staff council of Heidelberg University , until 2005 staff council. From 1996 he was a master precision mechanic at the University of Heidelberg at the Institute for Environmental Physics . He is married and has a son.

In 1979 Pfisterer became a member of the CDU. In 1989 he was elected to the municipal council of Heidelberg , where he became deputy chairman of the CDU parliamentary group in 1992. In 1996 he was elected as a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg. He was a member of the Science and Economics Committee and was a member of the CDU parliamentary group. In the state election in 2011 he was not re-elected. Before that, he had always won the direct mandate in the Heidelberg constituency.
