Werner Röhl (born December 15, 1938 ) is a former German soccer player in the storm . He played for ASK Vorwärts Berlin in the GDR Oberliga .

Career

In 1960 Röhl played for ASK Vorwärts Berlin in the major league. In this season he came twice used. He made his debut on September 4, 1960, when he was in the starting line-up against SC Einheit Dresden on matchday 15 . In the 6-1 victory, he also scored his first and only goal in the league in the 43rd minute. The ASK Vorwärts Berlin became East German champions at the end of the season. In the junior league, ASK Vorwärts also won the championship with him in 1960. From 1961 to 1964 Röhl played at ASG Vorwärts Neubrandenburg . In the GDR league he scored eleven goals in 1962/63 and six in 1963/64 . Then he came to the GDR league club SC Cottbus . He completed four games in the 1963/64 season , in which he scored four goals. In the following two seasons he came to 23 and 21 games with five and six goals. Röhl stayed in Cottbus even after the re-establishment of the BSG, but only made three appearances in the first team in the 1966/67 season and played with the reserves. In the following season he was only used eight times. 1968 moved Röhl for a year to TSG Wismar , which also played in the GDR league. He then went to the BSG activist Kali Werra Tiefenort , where he stayed until 1971 and with whom he played again in the GDR league.
