Werner Stocker (lawyer)

Werner Stocker (born March 15, 1904 in Möhlin , † March 27, 1964 in Intragna , today the municipality of Centovalli ) was a Swiss lawyer and politician ( SP ).

Stocker was Konrad Farner's cousin . From 1924 to 1929 he studied law, did his doctorate and worked as a lawyer . From 1937 to 1946 Stocker was central secretary of the Social Democratic Party of Switzerland. From 1952 to 1964 he was a federal judge . From 1942 to 1953 he was a councilor in Zurich and from 1945 to 1946 a national councilor .
