Werner Winsauer

Werner Winsauer (born October 21, 1928 in Bregenz , † October 23, 2010 in Dornbirn ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and dairy director. Winsauer was a member of the Austrian National Council from 1986 to 1988 .

After primary school, Winsauer attended a secondary school, which he graduated from in 1949 with the Matura . He then studied at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna and graduated in 1954 with the academic degree Dipl.-Ing. from. After completing his studies, Winsauer completed three years of internships in dairy companies in Germany and in England and was subsequently employed by the dairy fund in Vorarlberg between 1957 and 1958 . In 1959 he became director of the large dairy in Dornbirn , where he was awarded the professional title of Commercial Councilor .

From 1959 Winsauer was a functionary and specialist at the Vienna Milk Management Fund. He also held the function of the district farmers 'union chairman of Dornbirn, was a member of the board of the Vorarlberg farmers' union from 1960 and was a member of the board of trustees of the federal institutes for dairy farming in Wolfpassing and Rotholz. Between April 17, 1986 and May 30, 1988 he represented the Austrian People's Party in the National Council.
