Werner von Rundstedt

Werner Ernst Adolf von Rundstedt (born March 1, 1833 in Schönfeld, Stendal district ; † January 22, 1909 in Badingen (Bismark) ) was a German officer, manor owner and member of parliament.

Life

Werner von Rundstedt studied at the University of Halle . In 1848 he became a member of the Corps Marchia Halle . After completing his studies, he started out as an officer in the Prussian Army . As Rittmeister he said goodbye and became the owner of the manor in Badingen. He was later promoted to major .

From 1871 to 1873 Rundstedt sat as a member of the constituency Magdeburg 2 (Osterburg, Stendal) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the Conservative Party .
