GDR team championship in chess 1973

In the East German team Chess Championship in 1973 , the defending champion won chess community Leipzig the fourth time in a row GDR Team Championship .

A round-robin tournament was played , with each team fought four team matches on eight boards against each other. In total there were 112 team fights, so 896 games.
