GDR team championship in chess 1977

At the GDR team championship in chess in 1977 , the Leipzig chess community won the GDR team championship for the seventh time .

A round-robin tournament was played , with each team fought four team matches on eight boards against each other. There were a total of 84 team fights, or 672 games.
