GDR team championship in chess 1966

The GDR team championship in chess in 1966 won the first team of TSC Berlin and was thus GDR team champion . TSC Berlin I won with a clear lead and secured its sixth German championship title after the years 1959 to 1961, 1963 and 1965.

A round-robin tournament was played , with each team playing two team fights on eight boards against each other.
