Inés Justet

Inés Justet (born September 13, 1967 ) is a former Uruguayan athlete .

Career

Justet was active in the running competitions on the sprint courses. She took part with the Uruguayan team in the 1986 South American Games in Chile . At the Games, she won the gold medal with the 4 x 400 meter relay . In the individual competitions, she secured bronze over 400 meter hurdles . She was also a member of the squad at the South American Games in 1990 . At these games in Peru , she won gold again with the 400-meter relay quartet and also secured the silver medal in the 400-meter hurdles. The following year she was a member of the squad at the 1991 Pan American Games in Havana . There she took 6th place with the 4 x 400 meter relay and was 10th in the 400 meter hurdles and 12th on the 400 meter course.

Justet is still today (as of June 15, 2015) the co-owner of the Uruguayan national record of the 4 x 400 meter relay. She worked on this as a member of the national relay on June 30, 1991 in Manaus, which required a time of 3: 40.19 minutes for the distance.
